Pulau Dodola terdapat Dodola Besar dan Dodola Kecil yang jaraknya sekitar 500 meter. Keunikannya Dodola besar dan Dodola kecil menyatu saat air pasang dan terpisah saat air surut. Waktu rentang air surut di lokasi ini cukup lama, yakni antara pukul 10.30 hingga 19.00 waktu setempat. Setiap wisatawan yang berkunjung pasti terpesona dengan keindahan Pulau Dodola. Hamparan pasir putih yang halus dari Pulau Dodola Besar yang menyambung ke Pulau Dodola Kecil, air laut bagaikan kristal, desiran ombak kecil dan langit yang biru membuat pulau ini semakin romantis bagi pengunjung yang membawa pasangannya.

Pemerintah daerah menyiapkan cottage bagi turis yang ingin bermalam di Pulau Dodola, Anda bisa menghubungi terlebih dahulu ke kantor pariwisata di kota Daruba. Biaya penginapan cukup terjangkau, namun perlu Anda ketahui tempat ini belum tersedia jaringan listrik sedangkan untuk sinyal telepon masih dapat disini. Dinas Pariwisata Pemerintah Daerah setempat juga menyiapkan jetski kepada turis setiap akhir pekan namun tarif sewanya cukup mahal yang dihitung perjam. Kegiatan lain yang dapat Anda lakukan disini seperti snorkeling, berenang, dan memancing.

Ada baiknya Anda siapkan lotion SPF dan anti nyamuk. Disini cukup banyak terdapat nyamuk kecil yang disebut "agas" oleh penduduk Morotai.

Akses ke Pulau Dodola cukup mudah dari Pulau Morotai yakni kota Daruba dengan lama perjalanan sekitar 30 menit, ada baiknya Anda menyewa speedboat seharian meskipun tarifnya cukup mahal supaya Anda dapat sekaligus menjelajahi pulau-pulau terdekat yang memiliki keindahan tersendiri.
